The gas you’re paying for is technically a nine-tenths of a cent more expensive than you think it is. Looking at a gas pump, you’ll see the price reflected with an additional nine at the end. More than just an arbitrary number, this small extra cost has really made a huge impact on the bottom line of petrol firms.
