Nagasaki from the survivor’s perspective

The dropping of the atomic bomb by the US Air Force marked the beginning of the end of the war in the Pacific Theater and served as a major driver of change for the coming years. However, in the instants after the bomb was dropped, most of the survivors had no idea they were about to become locked in history.
