Screw Pantone, take a look at the US Government’s official color palette

People know Pantone as the authority on color. They’re the agency that chooses the color of the year (it’s Marsala this year, which I have feelings about…) and the one that is commonly used as references in color trademarkes and in color identification.

But what of the US Government? They have everything–including their own color identification system. While it might not be as sexy as Pantone’s, it works.
