Raising awareness is pretty useless

Last summer, the ALS Ice Bucket Challenge took the world by storm with people ranging from Bill Gates to Casey Neistat and President Emeritus George W. Bush. And thing is, the campaign did raise more funds than normal for the ALS Society.

But are there too many awareness days? They’re easy, sure. Yet eventually we will reach the point where we stop paying attention to the things others want us to be aware of.
